Dimana Kolarova

After numerous visits to Atlantic Canada over the last decade, the lifestyle and dramatic coastal landscapes left a deep and lasting impression, inspiring Dimana to relocate from Toronto to Saint John in 2021. Dimana joined the Brackish team in 2022, bringing her diverse educational background and past experience in various creative endeavours. After completing a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising at Humber College, she shifted her focus to Architecture, earning both a Bachelor and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Toronto. Throughout her time at U of T, Dimana studied various communities and their respective vernacular design principles, taking her to Costa Rica, Italy, and Newfoundland. Since moving to Atlantic Canada, Dimana has become a contributing member to BEAA (Building Equality in Architecture). Dimana is an avid world traveler, and is skilled in photography, graphic design, and architectural visualization, allowing her to contribute to conceptual storytelling at Brackish through a multi-faceted lens.
