Private Hangar

A landscape design for a private aircraft hangar, this project blends landform, planting, and paving to provide visual screening, create a welcoming pedestrian entrance, and manage storm water flows, while observing the various constraints inherent in airport design. Tree species were carefully selected for their heights at maturity to remain within Airport Zoning Regulations, and a palette of native and adaptive plants is contextual, without creating habitat for wildlife which could inhibit airport operations.
