Roosevelt Campobello International Park

A favourite holiday haunt for Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, Campobello Island is now home to Roosevelt Campobello International Park - a popular destination for both Canadian and American visitors, and is the only park jointly managed and funded by both Canada and the United States. Brackish was part of a team led by Acre Architects selected to develop a revitalization plan for the Park’s welcome centre. The plan re-envisions the program for the welcome centre to respond to current trends in the tourism market, and to re-organize the site to better choreograph the visitor experience and capitalize on the many heritage assets of this unique cultural landscape.
